Br. Ammar Shaikh
I have a Masters in Information Systems from University of Maryland. My teaching career started at the Islamic School of Baltimore. My wife and I relocated to Louisville for teaching Quran and Islamic Studies. In 2009, I joined ISL as an Islamic Studies, Quran and computer teacher. I am currently pursuing a degree in higher Islamic education from eAlim, Darul Uloom Canada. I take great pride in making Islam more exciting and interesting to my students by pioneering the state-wide Islamic Quick Recall, introducing the national Islamic Studies Standardized Tests, and creating Islamic dioramas, plays, etc.
