I am the fourth grade teacher at the Islamic School of Louisville. I was born in Lexington, KY and lived in Somerset, KY until 2009. I graduated from Alice Lloyd College with a B.A. in English in 2004 and later obtained my M.A. in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University. I am also a graduate of the principal program at Bellarmine University. In 2009, I moved to Evansville, IN and worked as an elementary school teacher for four years. I have been married to my husband for seven years and we have one son named Luke who starts kindergarten this year. I love to read and it is my goal to make students into lifelong readers. I am happy to be a part of the Islamic School of Louisville. I am looking forward to a successful year of learning!
