Assalamu Alaikum!

I am blessed to say that I have been teaching at the Islamic School of Louisville for the past fifteen years! I have over twenty years of teaching experience in various grade levels. I earned a teaching degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have the Kentucky Director’s Credential and certified in Early Childhood Administration.

This will be my second year teaching kindergarten. I absolutely love teaching younger grade levels. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in all my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subjects so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.

I am originally from Turkey and have been living in US over thirty years.I have lived in many different states before I settled here in Louisville for the last fifteen years.

I love spending time in nature, taking care of animals and horseback riding. I also like to read books in my free time and try new recipes.

I am so excited to be your child's teacher and help him/her learn new things in kindergarten this year!
