I am excited to work with some of our youngest and most exciting students at ISL! I have a Masters in Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of Louisville. I have worked in education since 2011 and I began my teaching career in 2014. I have worked in various private schools as a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher as well as in the University of Louisville Early Learning Campus. I love being a part of the awesome ISL team and working with all of our amazing students!
Teacher's Assistant
Wided Debbabi
Asalamu Alaykom,My experience of ten years in Islamic schools varies from volunteering, tutoring and subbing, to teaching 1st grade, 3rd grade and 5th grade to working in the administration. This year, back to be with students once more, I am so blessed to be part of Islamic School of Louisville Teaching Family as your Kindergarten Assistant. I live on the other side of the river with my husband and four children. The two older ones have attended ISL when they were young and the two younger ones are currently enrolled at ISL. I love to crochet and knit in my free time. I was an avid reader but I stopped after having children. I cannot wait to get back to reading books that do not have Dr. Seuss, Pete the Cat or Disney on their covers.
